Hi, I’m Claire!

I grew up in Tacoma, WA, a place known for the bay, the forests, and a vibrant culture of glass artists, which inspired my interest in light and color. My art is an exploration of identity, culture, and place. I find myself drawing digital portraits of the ecosystems that raised me, from the damselflies that land on my knees to the orcas swimming below the foghorns I fall asleep to. These are small pieces of my life that seem so ordinary, but it’s only in my work that I can capture how sacred these moments are. Each of my creations fall within the same need to appreciate the world and foster connection through various mediums.

While my experience has primarily been in spread design and art direction, I’m looking to expand my expertise in new roles. I am currently open to new projects.
